How to start
- Create an account. Half a minute. A shared notebook, “Our Home”, is already there with a shopping list and a place for household dates.
- Invite the other person. One link. From then on you both see the same thing, on their phone and on your computer.
- Add things as they happen. The shopping, the contract that just arrived, the date of the next check. Nothing gets lost between messages.

No subscription traps — you keep what you paid for
What happens when you stop paying for PRO? Three things, and none of them involves deleting your data.
- Shared notebooks stay shared. If you have paid for a year of PRO, the cap on shared notebooks is lifted for good. There is nothing to disconnect.
- Your files stay readable. Every file you uploaded stays open and downloadable, with no time limit. We do not delete anything on your behalf.
- Only the limit on new files comes back. New attachments fit into the 1 GB of the free plan again. The old ones stay exactly where they were.
Export whenever you want
In settings you download a single ZIP: your notes as Markdown and JSON, your notebooks and every attachment. Your data leaves with you.
30 days to change your mind
If within 30 days of paying you decide this is not for you, one sentence to billing@type-note.app is enough and we refund the whole amount. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). That is wider than the statutory 14-day withdrawal right, which of course still applies on the terms set out in the terms of use. You cancel the subscription yourself, in your account settings.
